Startup Fiesta in Madrid: 30 Portuguese startups at South Summit

Startup Portugal, in close collaboration with AICEP Portugal Global, will be supporting a delegation of 30 Portuguese startups to the 13th edition of the South Summit, one of Europe’s leading entrepreneurship conferences, taking place between June 5 and 7 in Madrid.

Included in this number, and part of the Business Abroad program, which aims to promote the internationalization of national startups, are 10 selected startups. From health tech to sustainability solutions, the 10 startups that make up the Business Abroad delegation have already raised a total of around eight million euros and currently employ more than 120 people.

All these startups plan to enter or invest more in the Spanish market and represent the diversity and dynamism of the Portuguese entrepreneurial ecosystem, operating in areas such as artificial intelligence, health tech, education, e-commerce and sustainability.

The Business Abroad delegation is made up of:

BRAINR – The startup uses an intuitive next-generation Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the food industry that enables smarter processes and integrated production operations in real time;
BRIDGE IN – Uses Software as a Service (SaaS) for complete company management. Integrated platform with solutions for Human Resources, Legal, Tax and Accounting;
Follow Inspiration – A leading company in the production of solutions for autonomous mobile robots (AMR) that aim to revolutionize the process of transporting goods within factories;
greenmetrics.ai – They have created a solution that uses intelligent sensors and advanced data analysis to adapt to climate change;
Growappy – All-in-one platform for pre-school education using AI;
InAppStory – Customer engagement platform through “Stories” and in-app gamification;
Indie Seguros – Insurance as a Service (IaaS), integrated into its platform via API. Coverage through instant search for your customers, assets, services or partners;
MIGHTY – Developed a software platform that manages and coordinates logistics, local storage and distribution partners to supply their exclusive kiosks with quality food;
Nevaro – Created HOLI – the mobile application that works as a personal trainer for mental health;
sheerME – It’s an app that helps consumers find, book and pay for all beauty and wellness services, always with cashback and benefits.
