Brazil, here we go again: meet the 10 Portuguese startups at Startup Summit
We’re proud to announce the delegation of 10 portuguese startups that will take part in Startup Summit, this year, one of the leading entrepreneurship and innovation conferences in South America. The event takes place from August 14 to 16 in Florianópolis, Brazil. This will be the final stop of the 2024 edition of the Business Abroad.
The delegation traveling to the Startup Summit consists of ten startups, all with the goal of promoting their internationalization and increasing visibility in the South American market. The companies promoted by Business Abroad at this conference are:
deeploy.me – A recruitment and outsourcing platform for UX designers, offering a dynamic community with job opportunities, mentoring, and various benefits.
Doctor Vida – Developer of a mobile-controlled device that enables rapid genetic testing on any biological sample, including humans, birds, and environmental samples.
Enline – Provides real-time and predicted monitoring and optimization for all types of electricity-related assets.
Follow up Global – A platform designed to help citizens legalize their work in foreign countries.
greenmetrics.ai – Utilizes smart sensors and advanced data analysis to help adapt to climate change.
Hoopers – A global basketball platform that connects players, fans, and brands through the intersection of physical and digital spaces.
Infinite Foundry – An industrial metaverse platform that combines 3D digital twin technology and virtual sensors to track and optimize operations in real-time.
Mycareforce – A marketplace that connects nurses with available shifts in healthcare facilities.
USEFLOW – A gamified platform for internal communication, training, and development, focused on operational staff without access to computers.
Star Mountain – Developing a SaaS solution for end-to-end traceability of cannabis production chains, using cutting-edge technologies like blockchain and web 3.0.
Startup Portugal, together with its partners – AICEP, Turismo de Portugal, Core Angels Atlantic, and Atlantic Hub – will be present at the Startup Portugal Stand during the Startup Summit, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, from August 14 to 16. This space will serve as a meeting point for the Portuguese delegation, providing valuable support and resources for the startups throughout the conference. Francisco Poças, Senior Project Manager at Startup Portugal, will also participate in a panel titled “Europe: Innovation and Collaboration – From Lisbon to London: The European Journey of Brazilian Startups,” alongside representatives from the startup ecosystems of Spain and the United Kingdom.
On August 13, at 3:00 PM, the Portuguese delegation will have the opportunity to meet with local investors and entrepreneurs in a pitch and networking session, organised in collaboration with the Honorary Consul of Portugal in Santa Catarina, André Lupi, in a parallel event aimed at strengthening ties with the Brazilian innovation and investment ecosystem.
