From Portugal to Canadá: 13 Startups ready for Collision Conf

Startup Portugal and Lisboa Unicorn Capital announce their presence at the 5th edition of Collision, one of the main entrepreneurship and innovation conferences on the American continent, taking place between 17 and 20 June in Toronto, Canada with a delegation of 13 startups.

The Collision conference is the Web Summit event on the American continent. The same organisers of the Web Summit in Lisbon, Canada are bringing together 2,000 companies from 130 countries, 1,000 investors and more than 40,000 people in attendance, including leading companies from technology, finance, banking, human resources and other sectors.

The Portuguese delegation, with 13 Portuguese startups, will be made up of:

Ahau Software – Has created a productivity platform under the name AHAU 260, which provides the same task/project context in all the work tools it uses;

Brandy IM – Brandy focuses on brands in the digital space, making them useful and reliable 24/7 on its website, Whatsapp, Instagram Direct, Apple Messages for Business and more than ten channels;

EdgenAI – Has created open source software that allows generative AI (GenAI) applications to operate locally and efficiently, guaranteeing total data privacy and personalisation;

Enline – Provides real-time and predictive historical monitoring and optimisation for all types of electricity-related assets;

iLof – A digital health company on an AI platform to accelerate the future of personalised drug discovery and development;

iTRecruiter – A talent acquisition start-up. It combines technologies – AI, ChatGBT, Bots – with the power of communities and the human touch for intelligent recruitment;

Goparity – The startup democratises access to impact loans and allows individuals and companies to finance sustainable and impactful projects worldwide;

Naoris Protocol – Startup that, through Blockchain and swarm AI, turns vulnerable devices into reliable points of defence;

Oddsgate – Business intelligence-orientated betting software that aims to offer a wide range of products and services, such as casino, bingo, poker and sports betting.

Synexis – Utilises a unique platform for startups to simplify stakeholder relations, safeguard intellectual property and keep investors informed – all via blockchain;

TakeCarbon – Decentralised WEB3 platform for tokenising and trading ESG assets.

The Carbon Games – Focused on redefining sustainable mobility by combining carpooling solutions with blockchain technology;

WiseWorld – Made soft skills measurable with a game-based, AI-powered platform designed to assess and empower employees through real-life challenges, providing managers with reliable data for better decision-making.

The startups in this delegation have already raised a total of around 18 million euros and currently employ more than 200 people.

Since it was created, the Business Abroad programme, which aims to promote the internationalisation of national startups by supporting their presence and exposure in international markets, has supported more than 270 startups at international technology events and in the most relevant markets for this sector.
