The Business Abroad program aims to ensure and support the presence of Portuguese startups in international tech conferences, thus creating a more significant impact on representations abroad and allowing them to coordinate its communications with international ecosystems and local media.

- Brazil – Web Summit Rio – Rio de Janeiro, RJ: 8–11 June
- France – VivaTech – Paris: 17–20 June
- Brazil – Startup Summit – Florianópolis, SC: 26-28 August

Who can apply?
- Startups based in Portugal (with a Portuguese VAT company number [NIF]), with a live product, and with its own website;
- Have its own unique software product or solutions, or must be working on its own connected hardware devices;
- Be an independent company and not a subsidiary of a larger organization;
- Be legally recognized as a startup or a scaleup in Portugal.
How can you benefit from participating in our delegation?
- Showcase your startup at the event’s exhibition area;
- Pitch your startup at the official event stages;
- Access networking side events with relevant local players, ecosystem stakeholders (focused on BA, VC, and business opportunities);
- Get media attention through Startup Portugal, AICEP and the event’s media channels.
