Paris Match: 25 Startups Take the Stage at VivaTech

From AI breakthroughs to sustainable tech solutions, Portugal is once again making waves in one of the most influential innovation gatherings in the world — VivaTech 2025. Taking place from June 11 to 14 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, this year’s edition is welcoming a dynamic delegation of 25 Portuguese startups, selected for their innovation, ambition, and global potential.

Organized under the umbrella of Startup Portugal’s Business Abroad program, this mission marks the biggest Portuguese presence at VivaTech to date. With a dedicated Portugal Stand (A29) serving as a meeting point, showroom, and content hub, the delegation brings together a vibrant mix of national startups — from those supported directly through the program to others making their own way to Paris — all stepping onto the international stage to pitch, connect, and scale.

Throughout the four days, attendees will explore solutions across AI, Healthtech, Sustainability, SaaS, Fintech, and more. Backed by Startup Portugal and AICEP, and with support from the Portuguese Consulate and media coverage by SIC Notícias, the spotlight is on the ideas shaping the future.

Mark your calendars for June 12, at 16:00, as Pitch Studio hosts the spotlight event Pitch Competition: Portugal. Co-organized by Startup Portugal, AICEP, and French Tech, this session features 9 Portuguese startups pitching their projects in front of international investors, ecosystem leaders, and corporate partners.

Each founder will have 3 minutes to wow the crowd and compete for a custom consultancy package from AICEP – a strategic boost for entering the French market. If you’re at VivaTech, this is where you’ll want to be.
