Position

Junior Program Manager

Startup Portugal is a non-profit organization with the mission of developing activities of public interest to promote entrepreneurship. We work closely with public and private entities operating in the national entrepreneurial ecosystem. We support the Government in creating and implementing the National Strategy for Entrepreneurship and assist in the design and execution of public policies, including PRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan) initiatives, to support startups and entrepreneurship both domestically and internationally.

Our activities span various economic sectors, leveraging the support of diverse public and private entities, including entrepreneurs, startups, incubators, investors, corporations, academia, and governmental organizations. Through these collaborations, we develop initiatives that foster the growth of the startup ecosystem and cultivate a stronger entrepreneurial culture in Portugal.

About the One Stop Shop - Entrepreneur’s Hub:

The One Stop Shop (OSS) is the gateway program of Startup Portugal and the startup ecosystem. It provides support to entrepreneurs, founders, and investors by helping them identify and navigate the opportunities available to startups and investors across the country. OSS maps and presents funding and investment programs, incentives, policies, and events. In addition to providing assistance through an online support form, OSS also offers the possibility of scheduling online and in-person meetings at Startup Portugal’s Lisbon office.

The program also represents Startup Portugal in institutional presentations, welcomes international delegations, and participates in Startup Portugal and ecosystem events.

You will join the Data & Tech team, working as a Junior Program Manager for the One Stop Shop Program alongside the Program Manager. You will assist with the daily management of the program, while also contributing to its strategic planning and initiative development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the One Stop Shop back office (Microsoft Dynamics CRM);
• Handle requests submitted through the One Stop Shop support form and conduct online and in-person meetings with entrepreneurs and investors;
• Map available national programs and strengthen relationships with key ecosystem stakeholders; Assist in creating monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports using Startup Portugal’s CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, and Power BI;
• Represent the One Stop Shop program at Startup Portugal and ecosystem events; Support the strategic planning and development of new initiatives for the One Stop Shop program.

• Full-time contract until the end of 2025, with the possibility of renewal (to be determined based on responsibilities);
• Hybrid work setup, with in-person work at Startup Portugal’s Lisbon office.

Requirements

• Experience managing programs or projects with strong community engagement;
• Knowledge and experience in data management are a plus;
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English (mandatory);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, and Google Drive;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Availability to travel within the country.
