New announcement “Vouchers for Startups” and “Vouchers for Incubators
Startup Portugal has a new announcement to the participants of the “Vouchers for Startups” and “Vouchers for Incubators” programs. In this new update, we seek to answer the most frequently asked questions regarding the applications to both these support programs.
1. When are the results of the Vouchers for Startups – New Green and Digital Products of Notice No. 10/C16-i02/2022 expected to be released?
Considering the high number of applications under the Vouchers for Startups – New Green and Digital Products funding program and the need to conduct a thorough analysis of the applications submitted, the period of time required for the analysis’ process will be longer than estimated. In this sense, we will continue the analysis in order to complete the evaluation as soon as possible.
2. When are the results of the Vouchers for Incubators and Accelerators under Notice No 11/C16-i02/2023 expected to be released?
Regarding the analysis deadline of the applications received in the scope of Notice no. 11/C16-i02/2023 – Vouchers for Incubators and Accelerators, we inform that the analysis is being conducted within the estimated deadline.
3. When is the opening date of the upcoming Notices?
a. Incubators
The next call will be launched based on the following assumptions:
- Finalization of the renegotiation of the RRP with the European Commission
- Finalization of the analysis of the applications received under the previous notice and consequent communication to the applicants.
b. Startups
The next call will be launched based on the following assumptions:
- Finalization of the renegotiation of the RRP with the European Commission
- Finalization of the analysis of the applications received under the previous notice and consequent communication to the applicants.
4. Do you foresee the inclusion of structural changes to the Vouchers’ notices within the scope of the renegotiation of the RRP?
The next notices will include additional clarifications that proved to be important, taking into account the questions raised by the applicants. Additionally, if the renegotiation of the RRP with the European Commission is approved, we will include a structural and beneficial change in the terms of these notices, naturally extended to all applicants.
